In the most recent case of financial corruption in the mullahs’ regime, the mayor and two city council members were apprehended by security agents in Khoramshahr, southwestern Iran.
Based on a report by the IRGC-affiliated Fars news agency on October 3rd from Abadan, southwestern Iran, security agents apprehended the mayor and former city council chairman of Khoramshar for financial reasons. Details on this case have yet to be announced.
Another Khoramshahr City Council member was also arrested by State Security Force units on Tuesday afternoon in Abadan for immoral behavior.
