
“Around 35 new prisons are being built around the country, which must be completed as soon as possible”, said Moussa Qorbani.
“Of course the current problem of lack of space in the country’s prisons is not only population growth, rather unfortunately there is a spirit of imprisoning people in some of the judges; all of these issues have resulted in prison density to be over its capacity”, said this member of the Iranian regime’s Majlis, admitting to the growing imprisonment sentences given to offenders by the regime’s Judicial System judges.
“Some of the offences require large bails for release, and due to the fact that the individual can’t afford to pay the bail he/she is detained.”
