U.S. State Department: Missile Shield system is to confront Iran’s threat

Gordon Duguid, State Department Deputy Spokesman, said in a press conference that the Iranian regime is not only after nuclear weapon, but also after missile technology, reported the U.S. State Department website.
Duguid added that the U.S. has explained this issue to Russia and, along with other members of NATO, is willing to cooperate with Russians on missile defense.
