US Army spokesman denied release of two Iranian regime’s terrorists

According to Azzaman International daily on March 3, the US Army Spokesman in Iraq denied remarks by Iranian regime’s ambassador to Baghdad regarding the release of two Iranian regime’s terrorists by Americans.

Azzaman wrote:” Following the remarks of Hassan Kazemi Qomi, Iranian regime’s ambassador to Baghdad, that they had received a letter from the International Committee of Red Cross (ICRC) the regarding release of two Iranians, one of whom is a former employee in Iranian Consulate in Erbil, the spokesman of the US Forces in Iraq said he had no information of the release of those two who are detained in Iraq.”

Azzaman added:” General Will Powel, spokesman of the operational section of the US Forces avoided confirmation of this news and said:” So far, we have received no news of releasing these Iranians and their transfer to Iran.”
