The Iranian regime’s ambassador to Iraq was attacked in a Green Zone checkpoint in Baghdad, Iraq’s Kurdish Nawa Radio reported.
On Tuesday, mullahs’ envoy to Iraq Hassan Danai’i Far was attacked and beaten by units in a checkpoint while passing through the middle of Baghdad. His face was injured in this incident.
“While the convoy of Iran’s ambassador to Iraq was passing, the checkpoint gate suddenly closed, resulting in his bodyguards protesting to the checkpoint unit and a quarrel erupting afterwards,” a news source said.
Following this incident, Nouri Maliki immediately went to meet Danai’i Far and ordered for an investigation committee to be established on this issue.
