A member of the Iranian regime’s Parliament Economy Commission said joint sessions involving the parliament and Rouhani’s government have been cancelled.
“The poverty line in Iran is 20 million rials (around $818),” said Iraj Nadimi in an interview with the Revolutionary Guards-affiliated Fars news agency. “I don’t have any news of the sessions between the government and the parliament, and the last session was held last year. It appears that joint sessions have been cancelled.”
However, he refused to say why these sessions have been cancelled.
“There have been unusual differences in management and we must accept the fact that the main principle subsidizing the goods … is not a fair plan and not based on social justice,” he added.
