Following US President Barack Obama’s visit to Saudi Arabia, former White House Middle East advisor Dennis Ross published an article in the Los Angeles Times revealing there are deep differences between Saudi Arabia and the US on Obama’s Middle East policies. Dennis Ross emphasizes the Saudis… completely believe the Iranian regime is determined to obtain nuclear weapons.
According to this article, over a number of very important issues there are difference between Washington and Riyadh, including the Syrian crisis and related developments dubbed as the Arab Spring, adding how to deal with Iran tops the list.
The Los Angeles Times article says the Saudis never had such doubts regarding US policies, and they are saying the Iranian regime through the terrorist Quds is active in Bahrain, Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, Yemen and portions of eastern Saudi Arabia and meddling in these countries’ internal affairs.
