Yemeni government spokesman Rajah Badi said they are only willing to join the United Nations-supervised talks if Houthi rebels recognized the Security Council Resolution 2216.
“This resolution emphasizes that the Houthis must withdraw from all cities and hand over their weapons to the government,” he said.
“If the Houthis are serious about negotiations based on the terms of UNSC resolution 2216, they must recognize it and accept the implementation all of its articles,” the Yemeni government spokesman added.
