Popular resistance forces in Yemen have made major advances in a number of areas in Lahij Province, Al Arabiya reported on Thursday, July 30th. Just 4 kilometers away from the province capital these forces are taking control of all the areas, sources say.
Forces supporting Yemen President Abed Raboo Mansour Hadi, besieging the Anad air base, are currently forgoing plans to take over the base since hundreds of their forces are imprisoned in the base. Legal sources in Aden have said the Houthis have at least 1,500 prisoners consisting of civilians from Aden, Ab Yin, Lahij and Zale’ in their prisons.
