
Units of Yemen National Army and popular resistance forces have taken over positions near the Port Makha road and the city of Ta’ez, Al Jazeera reported on Friday. Furthermore popular resistance forces have dispatched their units to reinforce their lines around the 35th Brigade Base that is currently under the control of elements loyal to Yemen’s ousted president Ali Abdullah Salah.
In other news from Yemen, government officials in Aden Province have called on the international community and Arab countries to take urgent action to rebuild the destructions of war in this province, especially infrastructures such as water and electricity grids. Government sources said conditions in Aden Province are gradually returning to normal and after popular resistance forces took control over the province people who were displaced from their homes can now return to their residences.
