Yemen popular resistance forces continued their advances, Al Jazeera reported on Friday, August 7th. Dozens of Houthi members and Ali Abdullah Salah troops have fled the Army’s 15th Brigade and other bases in the cities of Zangbar and Shaqre in Abyan Province to al-Beida Province known to be a shelter for the Houthis.
Al Jazeera also reported popular resistance forces and Yemen National Army units reinforced their positions in Lahij Province. Yemen popular resistance forces press center said the fighters have cleansed the Lebuze base and Anad triangle of all Houthis and Salah troops.
Military experts say taking over large areas in the Anad base and various regions in the span of just days shows very detailed planning by the Yemen resistance forces.
