Arab coalition warplanes targeted military maneuvering around Fort Hamza south of the city of Ibb towards battle areas in Zale Province, Al Arabiya reported on Sunday, August 9th. These airstrikes were carried out after the city of Zinjibar in Ibb Province was captured.
Popular resistance forces in this province captured the city of Rozmen and its surrounding mountains.
Popular resistance forces in Abyan Province, along with Yemen National Army units and backed by coalition airstrikes and warships killed and detained dozens of militants.

In Taizz Province popular resistance forces staged ambushes on the main road linking the cities of Aden to Taizz, making major advances in this front.
Popular resistance forces also said in Arhab Province north of Sana’a they have launched attacks on a new front and began their campaign against the Houthis.
Following these battles the Houthis have announced emergency conditions in Sana’a.
