Yemen Human Rights Minister reports to UN Human Rights Council

Yemen Human Rights Minister Ezzaddin al-Asbahi said he intends to deliver a report to the United Nations Human Rights Council in Geneva consisting of law violations by the Houthis and troops loyal to ousted dictator Ali Abdullah Salah. Houthi militants in Ta’izz committed the biggest crime against the locals, he said in his interview with Sky News TV.
He referred to crimes committed by Houthis against physicians and hospital staff.
“This group directly attacked people’s homes and abducted a number of reporters and political activists. Moreover, they imposed a brutal siege on over 500,000 people in Ta’izz and targeted their homes with artillery barrages,” he added.
