Airstrikes against strategic positions of Houthi rebels and elements of Ali Abdullah Saleh in three provinces have left dozens of them killed and injured. Local sources say one coalition air strike at a Houthi site in Aden left 39 of them killed.
Popular resistance forces are increasing their attacks against the Houthis and staging ambush attacks in Yemen’s northern provinces. These forces have been able to take over the army’s Fort 31 in Aden.
In other news, Yemen Transportation Minister Badr Mohamed Basalme said Houthi militants and elements loyal to Ali Abdullah Saleh have placed Aden under siege in order to take control over the humanitarian support delivered to Port Hadida. These measures are implemented to force Yemen’s legitimate government to accept Houthi conditions. These actions by the Houthis show their inhumane measures against the besieged people.
Whereas, the legitimate Yemini government can easily close Port Hadida and can call on the Arab coalition to prevent any ships from docking in this port. However, since this government considers all the Yemeni people as their own people, it does not take such actions.
