Yemen National Army troops and popular resistance forces, enjoying the support of Arab coalition units, have taken control over Masariya heights in Ma’rib Province, Al Arabiya TV reported. They are now able to cut off routes providing logistics to Houthi militants and troops loyal to ousted dictator Ali Abdullah Salah.
Reports also indicate Houthi militants are falling apart and many of their ranks and files have fled the battlefronts in large numbers. In the meantime, military operations aimed at cleansing all of Ma’rib Province are continuing.
Apache helicopters have also been seen bombings Houthi positions.
