The headquarters of the Popular Resistance Forces, PRF, of Yemen in Aden announced Thursday that a number of districts including Kreeter, Mo’alla, Ghaloo’a have been liberated and cleared of all Houthi rebel forces. In addition more than 40 Houthi rebels and forces loyal to the deposed president, Ali Abdullah-Saleh and their commanders have defected and surrendered to the PRF. The announcement also said that the PR Forces are advancing towards news areas and are clearing those areas of Houthi militants as they go forward. It added that the city of Aden is on the verge of total liberation from Houthis.
Yemeni Prime Minister, Khalid Bahah posted on social websites that Aden will soon be liberated completely and free of Houthi militants.
