In an interview with Al Jazeera TV on Wednesday Yemen Foreign Minister Riad Yassin expressed his gratitude to the international community, especially Arab nations, for their solidarity with the people of Yemen.
“In a short period we were able to liberate most of the country and the legitimate government was able to return to Yemen. We will be programming for the country’s reconstruction, and of course before that security is our top priority. The President will be leaving for New York in the next few days to taken part in the United Nations General Assembly, and of course I, too, will be there. We want to tell the entire world that your solidarity with us bore fruit and your presence along our side in the future will be an example to resolve problems in other parts of the Arab World,” he said.
