The United Nations humanitarian coordinator along with a delegation has arrived in Aden in southern Yemen on Monday. This is the first UN delegation travelling to Aden after the city was liberated from Houthis control.
Aden Governor Naef al-Bakri said this delegation witnessed the destruction the city has suffered to this day.
On the other hand, Yemen Road& Construction Badr Basalme said the legitimate government welcomes the UN’s return. He went on to express the UN would be able to cooperate in providing humanitarian aid to the people of his country and mentioned the fact that today Aden’s airport and ports are open and all humanitarian measures and transfers of this aid to other provinces are now possible.
