In Yemen Arab coalition warplanes carried out six heavy airstrikes against Houthi positions in the Sofan and al-Nehdha regions in Sana’a, Al Arabiya TV reported on Thursday, September 10th. The Houthis base in 1st Division base was also bombed in three strikes.
Apache gunships were also seen for the first time attacking Houthi positions in the Jafina district in Ma’rib Province.
The Houthi base in the al-Nehdha neighborhood located north of Sana’a was also bombed, eyewitnesses said. These sources added 28 Houthis and troops loyal to ousted dictator Ali Abdullah Salah were killed in these airstrikes.
