World Jewish Congress condemns Switzerland for gas contract with Iran

President of the World Jewish Congress blamed the Swiss government for signing gas contract with the Iranian regime, reported AP.

According to AP from Bern, Ronald Lauder, president of the World Jewish Congress, said that signing a contract with Ahmadinejad meant defaming Switzerland and selling its international credibility for economic deals.

Lauder asked Christophe Blucher, head of Swiss People’s Party, to condemn this measure and to cancel the contract with Iran.

AP pointed out that the US also protested signing such a contract with the Iranian regime.
