Women protest in Fallujah, demos begin in Kirkuk and Basra

Iraqi women in the city of Fallujah in Iraq’s al-Anbar Province staged a large demonstration on Tuesday, Al Jazeera TV reported, demanding the immediate release of women behind bars in Nouri Maliki’s dungeons.
Al Rafedein TV in Iraq broadcasted images of protesters showing cartoon images of Maliki and Bashar Assad shaking hands, with Maliki holding an Iranian weapon behind his back and Assad holding a Russian weapon behind his back.
Al-Taqeer TV reported people in the oil-rich city of Kirkuk staged demonstrations in solidarity with the protesters in al-Anbar, Mosul and Salahaddin provinces. Furthermore, the Basra Tribal Council announced its solidarity with al-Anbar demonstrators and supported their demands.
In Neinawa Province, all administrative offices, other than those related to municipality service offices and medical care, are on strike in solidarity with Iraqi demonstrators across the country.
In the city of al-Dur in Salahaddin Province, security forces attacked the demonstrators, Al Sharqiya TV reported. This demonstration took part in solidarity with the al-Anbar protesters.
On this very day, al-Anbar protesters declared their sit-ins and demonstrations are national and related to all of Iraq, and they will continue holding these rallies.
