Widespread rallies reported in six southern Iraqi provinces

Al Baghdadiya TV, 5 Oct 2013 – Widespread demonstrations have been reported in Najaf, Karbala, Babel, Ziqar, al-Mothana and Diwaniya with protesters demanding retirement salaries be revoked for MPs and the heads of the three branches.
Al Baghdadiya News reporter said security forces prevented demonstrators from reaching Baghdad’s Tahrir Square.
