INTV, 27 Oct 2013 – Nazar al-Sameraei, Director of the Iraqi Strategic Research Center, shed light on the widespread meddling by Iran’s Revolutionary Guards in Syria through its Iraqi-Hezbollah mercenaries.
“Regarding the Iraqi government’s meddling in Syria you need only listen to Hassan Nassrollah’s speeches and those delivered by others in Baghdad and Najaf. The presence of Iraqis in Syria is not only limited to the Zeinab district. Iraqi Hezbollah forces have entered the city of Qusair, then onto Aleppo and Hama, and today the forces of the so-called Abolfazl al-Abbas unit and the IRGC have also spread out to other areas, too,” he said.
