have transferred ballot boxes from Sadr City to unknown locations, Al Rafedein TV reported, adding two IHEC officials gathered their vehicles in the Mozafar Square to transfer the Sadr City ballot boxes to main election centers in the international exhibition and all ballot boxes were transferred to SWAT forces. These vehicles headed towards the area but these ballot boxes have not reached their destinations.
In Sadr City SWAT forces have arrested a number of IHEC employees for asking the SWAT units commander on the whereabouts of the ballot boxes, said the IHEC.
Displaced Fallujah residents in Anbar Province are complaining being deprived of taking part in the elections, Al Rafedein TV reported. Being displaced from their homes due to attacks by Maliki’s forces against their cities, they were protesting being far from their polling stations. Protesters emphasized there are those who don’t want them taking part in the elections.
