Iraqi armed tribes were able to target a major military base belonging to SWAT militants in the Albu Ali al-Josem area, leading to 15 SWAT members being killed, Iraq’s al-Rafedein TV reported.
Armed forces also targeted Maliki’s 8th Brigade base with Grad missiles. Furthermore, the armed tribes also attacked a helicopter military base in Taji with 4 Katyusha missiles.
