Asharq al-Awsat daily published an article by Abdol-Rahman al-Rashed describing cooperation with Iran against ISIS as opening the gates of hell.
He wrote, “Cooperating with IranWhite House Press Secretary Josh Ernst said the US has decided to establish a coalition against ISIS with Sunni countries in the region, especially Saudi Arabia, adding Washington supports moderate opposition forces in Syria. The Assad regime is using violent tactics against the moderate opposition and this has led to an atrocious humanitarian catastrophe, he added.against the Sunnis in Iraq and Syria practically means opening the gates of hell, and actually providing energy for ISIS when their forces now see themselves surrounded by Sunnis in Anbar and the Sunnis Kurds in Iraq’s mountains and valleys.”
