AFP, July 2, 2008 – The White House said Wednesday it was skeptical over comments by Iranian leaders that a “new process” is underway to resolve the five-year old nuclear crisis with the West.
“We have every reason to be skeptical since we get mixed messages from them,” White House spokeswoman Dana Perino said.
According to media reports, Iranian Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki said a “new process” was underway after the delivery of a proposal by world powers to Tehran.
