US President Barack Obama said Russia with its actions in Ukraine has violated international laws and the US is reviewing economic and diplomatic options against Moscow.
In other news, reports from Brussels indicate European Union foreign ministers have held an emergency session issuing a joint statement against Russia’s military action in the Crimea peninsula. This is while on Monday night the UN Security Council also held an emergency session at Russia’s request on the Ukraine crisis.

This deadline was scheduled up to Tuesday morning local time. According to reports from previous days, many Ukraine army bases in the Crimea peninsula have been surrounded by Russian forces.
