US Senator John McCain said in an interview with BBC World TV that Iraqiya Coalition leader Ayad Allawi won the Iraqi elections and the US should have supported him much more than we did. McCain added we should have become more involved in Iraq after the elections in that country. However, the US did not due to the policies of the State Department and our ambassador in Baghdad.
