In an interview with Al-Hayat daily published in London, Dr. Abdullah Jabouri, chairman of the National Front for Salvation of Diyala, said: We ask for an end to the Iranian regime’ occupation in Diyala province.

He added: Local officials and the salvation councils must end the Iranian regime’s occupation in Baaquba and take appropriate measures against the presence of that regime.

Dr. Abdullah Jabouri added: The Iranian regime continues supporting the militias and has a determinative role in deterioration of the security situation of this region.

Dr. Jabouri said: The presence of the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran is legitimate in Iraq and we support it.
