
THERESA MAY declared “we are not afraid” as she addressed the House of Commons less than 24 hours after the terror attack on Parliament.
Express, Mar 23, 2017 – The Prime Minister, speaking just yards from where PC Keith Palmer was stabbed to death, told MPs: “Yesterday an act of terrorism tried to silence our democracy
“But today we meet as normal to deliver a simple message.
“We are not afraid and our resolve will never waver.”
Speaking before the Prime Minister, House of Commons’ Speaker John Bercow paid tribute to PC Palmer who had died “defending us, defending Parliament and defending Parliamentary democracy”.
