Warplanes bombed Halfaya and Tayyibat al-Imam in Syria

Rif Dimashq Province, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, Dec. 17, 2016: Warplanes carried out strikes after midnight last night in the outskirts of Douma city in the Eastern Ghouta killing scores of people and destroying homes.
Meanwhile, clashes continued between rebels and regime forces and Iran backed militias in al-Mid’aani area, resulting in the death of a fighter from the rebel factions.  Elsewhere, clashes took place sporadically between both parties in the area of Muhammadiyah in the central sector of the Eastern Ghouta.


In Hama Province, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported that warplanes carried out several raids on areas in the towns of Tayyibat al-Imam and Halfaya in the northern countryside of Hama, and other areas in Latmin village in the northern countryside of Hama. No information about injuries or casualties.
