He said: “the Awakening Councils have been and are an important and decisive factor in providing stability and security in Iraq. The violence targeted the head of Awakening Council in Adhamia, Yarmouk and Shaab; also 10 members of Council in Shaab were abducted. These crimes are committed by recruited criminals. Their aim is to destabilize Iraq.”
He added: “we offer our condolences to Dr. Adnan al-Dulaimi and his daughter Dr. Asma on loss of her husband, Dhiaa Ismail al-Jaffar who was martyred in criminal act of violence in Adhamia. We condemn such crimes and call on the Parliament to condemn it as well.”
