Staff writer, Al Arabiya, 10 April 2017 – Syrian activists from Idlib have been sharing video on social media purportedly showing warplanes dropping what looks like white phosphorus in the town of Saraqeb.
Other planes from Bashar al-Assad’s regime forces and Russian warplanes have launched air strikes on the towns of Sarmin, Maarrat al-Nu’man, Hbit and al-Shaghr villages in Idlib that have left many dead and wounded.
The attack on Saraqeb comes less than a week after a suspected sarin nerve gas attack on April 4 that killed at least 87 civilians in Syria’s southern Idlib town of Khan Sheikhoun.
