The Al-Hura T.V. described the deployment of the USS Cole guided-missile destroyer to waters off Lebanon on Thursday Feb. 28, to confront growing interferences by the Iranian regime in that country. The T.V. added the deployment of this destroyer should be seen as an indication of growing conflict between the United States and Iranian regime.

The move is aimed at confronting the meddling by Iran and Syria in the Lebanon political scene and for backing the democratic movement of Lebanon headed by Lebanese Prime Minister Fuad Siniora.
