On April 15, the MNC-I in a press release from Baghdad stated US soldiers seized multiple rockets and weapons in different operations in the Rashid District in southern Baghdad April 14.

The US soldiers seized more than a dozen 107mm rockets with launchers April 14 that appear to be of Iranian manufacture.

They also seized weapons during a security patrol in western Rashid.
The Soldiers captured rocket propelled grenades, and almost 100 shot gun rounds enroute to a nearby combat outpost.

The Soldiers also detained a man accused of attacking coalition forces in West Rashid.
