The US Senate Finance Committee has prepared the new sanctions plan against the Iranian regime called” Act of preventing Iranian regime to acquire nuclear weapon” and asks Secretary of State to insert IRGC in the terrorist list.

The plan that enjoys support of a large group of Democrats and Republicans in the US Senate is supposed to be propounded in the Senate Finance Committee’s session on Tuesday, April 8, headed by Senator Max Baucus (D) and Senator Charles E. Grassley (R).

In that session, the extent of success of Bush administration’s financial policies to counter terrorism and imposing new sanctions on the Iranian regime and its cooperating countries will be discussed and evaluated.
