In an interview on April 9, with the ABC T.V. the U.S. Ambassador in Iraq Ryan C. Crocker said : It is important to understand what would the consequences of the US withdrewal from Iraq. We don’t want to do it again. I have been in the Middle East for a long time and have witnessed the formation of tragic situation in Lebanon. I have been in Lebanon in early 80s. If we leave Iraq by itself , the situation could be much much worse than what we have seen before.
