The United States, France, Germany and Great Britain called for a lasting and permanent ceasefire in Gaza. The representatives of these countries in the United Nations presented a draft resolution to the Security Council raising this request and saying following the failure of efforts in Cairo for a ceasefire, the Security Council needs to intervene in this subject more than ever before.
