According to a report by Xinhua, Chinese news agency, from Baghdad, a security official in Hilla said the joint U.S. – Iraqi forces carried out an operation in several neighborhoods in Hilla Sunday night. During the operation, three commanders of Special Groups by the names of Abu Maryam, Saad Roumi and Ahmad Kadhim were arrested.

Xinhua added that the US forces call the individuals who are trained and funded by the Iranian regime as Special Groups.
