Jeffrey Feltman, Deputy Secretary of State in Middle East affairs, said that the Iranian regime plays a devastating role in Iraq and Afghanistan.
In his interview with Asharq Al-Awsat, he added that the Iran is among the specific issues that the new President of the United States is facing. The Iranian regime’s meddling makes no help to stability in the Middle East, especially in Iraq and Afghanistan. Tehran breaches the UN Security Council resolutions by providing arms support for the Lebanese Hizbollah. By helping the opponents of the Palestinian government, the Iranian regime precludes formation of two Palestinian and Israeli governments.
