US Deputy Secretary Blinken Travels to France

Deputy Secretary of State Antony Blinken will travel to Paris, October 20-21, to attend a ministerial meeting hosted by the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs to discuss post-Daesh stabilization and humanitarian relief for those affected by the ongoing operation to liberate Mosul. The Deputy Secretary will be joined by Brett McGurk, Special Presidential Envoy for the Global Coalition to Counter ISIL.
On the margins of the summit, Deputy Secretary Blinken will meet with French and other officials to discuss other key political, economic, and security issues.
