White House Press Secretary Jay Carney called on the Iranian regime to present guarantees proving it is not building nuclear weapons.
Carney said the US will seek the Iranian regime to be committed to its international obligations and provide approvable guarantees showing it is not pursuing nuclear weapons.
Jay Carney added the United States will not back down from enforcing sanctions and other measures to isolate and place pressure against the Iranian regime.
