According to Asharqiya TV, the US forces arrested four members of Iran-affiliated special groups in the city of Muqdadiya in Diyala province.

An Iraqi security source said that arrest of these four armed men took place during an attack and search operation by the US Special Forces units and with the Air Force support in the village of Seraiha in the environs of Muqdadiya.

The detainees are accused of abduction and assassination of a number of Muqdadiya residents last year.
