Ukraine pulling out military forces from Crimea

Ukraine’s interim government has announced it is pulling all its military forces out of Crimea. AP reported Ukraine’s head of National Security and Defense Council saying his country is seeking UN support for demilitarizing the Crimea Peninsula and it is transferring its military forces to the mainland.
This measure by the Ukrainian government follows a full military takeover by Russia over the Crimea Peninsula. Masked armed men raided Ukraine’s naval fleet base in the Crimea Peninsula and took over the entire base.
