Intense clashes erupted in the city of Kharkov between supporters and opponents of the new Ukrainian government, so far leaving dozens of people injured. Opponents also attacked Kharkov’s local government and raised the Russian flag on the building rooftop.
With the Russian Duma giving a green light to the government to strengthen its forces in the autonomous Crimea peninsula in southern Ukraine, the possibility of clashes are increasing in this country.
