UAE opened its embassy in Yemeni city of Aden

The UAE has opened a new embassy in the southern port city of Aden, a city that the Yemeni president, Abderabbo Mansour Hadi has moved his power base from Sanaa, where he was in house arrest after the Houthi coup in the country last month.
An aid to the president Mansour Hadi said the Saudi Arabi, Yemen’s neighbor to the north, a powerful Sunni kingdom in the Persian Gulf, has transferred its embassy from Sanaa to Aden.
Western and Arab countries closed their embassies in Sanaa after the Iranian backed Houthi rebels took over the capital and forced the president to resign.
