Reuters, Mar 28, 2017 – The U.S. Senate voted overwhelmingly on Tuesday to approve the expansion of NATO to allow Montenegro to join the alliance.
As voting continued, the vote was 86 to 2 in favor of Montenegro’s accession to the North Atlantic Treaty Organization. The vote sends the issue to the White House for President Donald Trump’s signature.
