U.S. presidential hopeful John McCain met with French President Nicolas Sarkozy. Associated Press reported from Paris on March 21.

The talks were taking place at the French Presidential Elysee Palace in Paris.
McCain met Sarkozy on Friday after talks with the French prime minister, Francois Fillon.

McCain is on a weeklong tour of Middle East and Europe. He came to France from Britain, where he held his first meeting with Prime Minister Gordon Brown. During his tour he emphasized several times his concern over the threat of Iranian regime’s nuclear activities and its support of terrorism
