In a joint press conference with the Italian premier, the U.S. Vice President announced in Rome that the two countries agreed on not permitting the Iranian regime to acquire nuclear weapon.

Dick Cheney said: “The world community must make Iran to respect the U.N. resolutions and international commitments and immediately stop uranium enrichment.”

The press conference was held on Tuesday following a two hour meeting between Dick Cheney and Italian PM Silvio Berlusconi.
